Creating a carrier account breaks protocol. Here's why; the customer is trying to nail the bottom line numbers in order to get the thing shipped (if at all). If a pilot calls and says "hey blah, blah, blah for 1.35 a mile all they have done is create confusion. So let's say the customer remembers your company name. We'll it really does not mater as the carrier is the one that makes it all happen including the choice of pilot car to use.
So. The carriers all know where our pilot car directory is as it's been there for years. When the carrier get's to the point where they need a pilot, they click on the state and start calling down the list.
The list; Here's how our system works. We have two. System 1: Live Posting. Live posting allows the pilot car to post their whereabouts LIVE. It also enables you to potantially book yourself on your next run while your on a current one. Say your headed from Kansas City, MO right now to San Diego, CA. Your going to be finished in San Diego, CA on the 15th. You post yourself as available in San Diego, CA on the 15th and a carrier calls with a run to Omaha, NE that will leave on a close date. Wallah!
System 2: The Directory. This option allows you to place a permanent listing in a state/states that you choose. Basic is at the bottom and Premium is listed at the top.
Fees: Live $10 a month. Basic $12 a year. Premium $70 a year.
