Permit is good for 5 days. Fee is $10 to $20. You may print your own application here (.pdf file).
Pilot car - Escort Car Requirements.
Over 12’ wide needs 2 escorts, 1 front and 1 rear of truck.
Over 76’ to 105’ needs 1 escort at rear of truck.
Over 16’ high needs 1 high pole escort in front of truck.
Travel Restrictions.
No travel ½ hour before sunrise to ½ hour before sunset. Travel permitted until noon on Saturday. No Sunday travel.
