Oversize Load Route Surveying Services in Oklahoma

At Wide Load Shipping, meeting clients’ deadlines is our priority. We have invested resources into route planning specialists and software to achieve this.  A detailed route plan is the only way to ensure any factor that could delay the transport is accounted for. A significant part of planning is conducting route surveys, which are a legal mandate. Route planning involves scouting a route for obstacles, overhead infrastructure, bridge height, speed limits, railway crossings, and narrow sectors. This data is also crucial for determining the needed paperwork, type, and number of escort vehicles. We guarantee that your load will be assigned the swiftest and most efficient route in the state. The most ideal routes for over-dimensional loads in Oklahoma are:

  • Interstate 40 (I-40): Major east-west route connecting Oklahoma City with neighboring states.
  • Interstate 35 (I-35): North-south route from Kansas to Texas, passing through Oklahoma City.
  • Interstate 44 (I-44): Diagonal route connecting Oklahoma City and Tulsa.
  • US Highway 69 (US-69): North-south highway through eastern Oklahoma.
  • US Highway 75 (US-75): North-south route passing through Tulsa.
