Save money DIY trucking permits. Oversize and over-weight.

Now more than every is easy for trucking companies to obtain over-weight and oversize trucking permits directly from the state DOT office.

If you’re looking for ways to cut spending and save money for your trucking company this about doing your own trucking permits and saving money. With technology advancing more and more every day state DOT offices are figuring out ways to cut spending costs as well. That means using technology. In other words if you are having a permit company file your permits for you it’s probably a service that you don’t need. The old esoteric methods of obtaining oversize and over-weight trucking permits aren’t needed anymore. With automation a computer can decide if a load needs to be flagged because it’s too wide or tall rather than a state employee on a salary. Something that trucking company permit providers aren’t bursting at the seams to let you know. All they do is simply forward all of the information that you have to type in to provide them with so they can get the permit to the DOT. You have to enter the information anyway, why not simply do it with the state and save your money.

You can get set up with the state of Indiana in just a few minutes and order oversize and over-weight permits whenever you need them.

It’s easier than you might think and can save your trucking company thousands if not tens of thousands of dollars. Not only can you do this with the state of Indiana but you can do it with almost every other state in the USA and Canada as well. Simply follow a few steps and you are on your way to saving BIG TIME!

  1. Simply create a (OSW) account with the Indiana state DOT  office by clicking here and it only takes a few moments.
  2. You can login to your OSW account here and create your OS/OW application.
  3. Relax and find something else to do and they will take care of the rest for you.

Now if that isn’t one of the easiest ways to save your company thousands if not tens of thousands of dollars what else is left? Trucking companies today simply don’t know about this yet as they are too busy running their own company. It takes a little more effort but it’s worth it in the long run for the savings.
